Patrick M. Cumpton

Patrick M. Cumpton joined North, Pursell & Ramos, P.L.C. in 2022. Patrick’s primary focus is in civil litigation, including the defense of medical providers in health care liability cases. He is admitted to practice law in Tennessee.

Patrick graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2022. During law school, Patrick served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lance M. Africk, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in New Orleans. Patrick has also spent time as a law clerk in the North Carolina Supreme Court. During his final year of law school, Patrick worked as an extern in the Orange County Public Defender’s Office in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

Prior to law school, Patrick graduated from Auburn University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science . In his free time, Patrick enjoys visiting with friends, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his dog, Charlie.
